Initiative: A Mini-exhibition of Visual Arts by the People of Differences

Pain Points of Artists with Disabilities: :

  • Many artists are introverted, and those with communication difficulties are even less likely to proactively seek solutions or systematically develop their potential.

  • People capable of assessing potential are scarce in Hong Kong society, where commerce always comes first. Those who can discover artistic potential within non-government organisations are even rarer.

  • Larger organisations for the artists with disabilities primarily invest resources in their "star" artists, meaning that most other artists rarely encounter opportunities.

殘疾藝術家的痛點 : :

  • 很多藝術家都是內向的人,溝通上有障礙的藝術家們更不會主動找出路,甚至有步驟地自我發展潛能;

  • 對潛能有判斷能力的人,一向祇倚重商貿的香港社會一路都稀缺,在非政府組織內發掘藝術潛能的人員,更是絕無僅有;

  • 規模較大的展能藝術家組織重點投放資源在『星級』藝術家,代表其他大多數藝術家們極少遇上機會。

舒緩方案 : :

  • 我們主動聯絡合適殘疾藝術家,並統計一切及付責所有費用;

  • 我們的設計藝術總監過往在廣告公司擔任美術指導,鍛鍊得對美學力與觀察力極為敏銳,正是能夠發掘藝術潛能的稀有人才;

  • 與大部分香港的『策展』不同,我們善於創造故事,再賦予豐盈意像的方塊字和具時代美感的視覺元素來敘事,燃亮展示誠品的光芒和展覽國度的溫暖氣息。

Relief Solution : :

  • We proactively contact suitable artists with disabilities and handle whole tasks and all expenses;

  • Our Design Director, formerly art directors at several advertising agencies, was trained to possess exceptional aesthetic sense and observation skills, making him a rare talent capable of uncovering people’s artistic potential;

  • Unlike most “curations” in Hong Kong, we excel at creating stories and then using rich text and engaging visuals to narrate them, illuminating the brilliance of all art pieces and raising the cosiness of the little exhibiting universe.

【一米二的自己和現在沒什麼區別】—— 軼名

7歲的時候沒有太在意身邊的世界是如何不同的,只覺得自己要成為一個更友善,品質優良的人。現在也仍說不上獎狀上的三好是哪三好,但是是好的我就覺得很開心了。

現在自己也是對「好」有無限的嚮往。也知道不是所有「好」都是值得追著的。

當時二年級,就期待成為三年級的學生,三年級就想成為四年級。就是希望成為更有承擔,更成熟的自己。

現在才發覺一點都不想長大啊!但也成為自己心目中的樣子了。原來有的心願早就達成了。

開心,謝謝。記起當時的自己是很好的體驗。
