Our founder is our Design Director too. He would be responsible for supervision of all creative tasks. On top, he would mentor all creative partners in all matters around aesthetics.
During these years of operation, he has attended multiple workshops and seminars to improve his skill sets, as well as foster inclusion:
Leadership Journey Phase 1, Autopilot Leadership Lab;
Rare Leadership Graduate, Rare with Google’s Leadership Academy; and
Sign Language intermediate level, Hong Kong Association of the Deaf.

Recognised Impact
We built our branding ourselves from scratch. In 2024, we are honoured to receive the Best Sustainability Brand in the HKDA Brand Design Awards 2024 organised by the Hong Kong Designers Association.

Founder, Design Director & Curator
In 2020, Alan founded Design Studio MZ+MM 無狀無名設計事務所, a PwDs-inclusionary social enterprise. He is also responsible for the supervision of creative works and design deliverables. By making good use of his experience of self-learning, creativity and astonishing insights, he offers design jobs and training opportunities for hearing-impaired and PwDs. He has learned sign language and tried hard to communicate with the deaf freely.

Alan was former art directors in multiple HK4As advertising agencies including Euro RSCG Partnership, Bates Advertising, Wunderman, DDB Needham, and Dentsu Young & Rubicam. During these times, he has serviced many international clients, like Intel, Volvo, BNP Paribas, Microsoft, Agilent Technology, HSBC, Citibank, Piaget, Neutrogena, Moulinex, Yakult, Lycra, Campbell’s Soup, Sony, Nissin Foods, Panasonic and more.
Through these experiences, he have acquired a knowledge of creativity under respective global strategies and corporate identity systems. In due course, he comprehends how to formulate strategy and CI system.
